I am pleased to be writing this letter of recommendation on behalf of the City of Mora. Located just north of Minneapolis, MN, the City of Mora offers plenty of things to do year-round and is committed to taking using resident input in decision-making processes.
The City of Mora is a busy place throughout the year. Whether it’s cross-country skiing, canoe racing, county fairs, or grabbing some books from the local library, there’s plenty to get involved in. Their local youth recreation centre also hosts several programs to keep youth active and engaged in the community.
For the residents of the City of Mora, they know they can feel heard. The city conducts yearly surveys to gather residents’ feedback on the services offered by the city. Furthermore, they are participating in the GreenStep Cities Program, which focuses on meeting sustainability and quality-of-life goals, using community input on priorities for future work.
For those looking for a day-trip destination, or a new community to call home, I would eagerly recommend they consider the City of Mora. There is plenty of activities to get involved with, and the city is reliably committed to hearing resident feedback.
