Based in Uniontown, Ohio, Kelli is the proud founder and president of Love Our Community, a non-profit organization with a vision to be a community who serves together to address the unseen needs of our neighbors.
At Love Our Community, its mission is to be a neutral connecting point that brings neighbors together to raise awareness and cultivate relationships. It works to build trust and restore hope to those facing challenges related to housing insecurity.
Kelli strives to connect people through relationships and resources to increase quality of life. They operate a resale store that also acts as a community closet for people in need, provide community meals, and have dedicated homes for people who are in distress to be safe in during transitional times.
Kelli works tirelessly to build important services for her community, while also designing the organization in a manner that can be replicated in other communities. Kelli’s organization provides opportunities for community members, including children, to give and learn about community service.
While I’ve only known Kelli for a short time, it’s easy to see how passionate she is about giving back to her community. She actively participates in many other organizations, like her chamber of commerce, and always goes above and beyond to help in any way she can. Just recently, she helped me purchase blanket materials for foster children at a reduced cost.
I recommend Kelli Viscounte and Love Our Community to anyone who is in need or is looking for a way to give back to those who need it most. Kelli and her team provide vital services and I commend her and her staff for the good work they do.
